Referee assessment for: July 5th. 2002 Chelsea OT2 OCSL
| Referee was reasonable. | |
| Unable to determine what obstruction was, and never gave fouls for compound fouls, such as obstruction by a player holding off access to another. This occurred several times during the match. | |
| As is normal, Ottawa corner kick positioning, but occasionally set himself up on the goal line but in the wrong side of the goal. | |
| Didn't know what holding and shoving was in the Laws of the Game. | |
| Gave one penalty fairly. Should have given another when someone was blatantly pushed in the Chelsea area. | |
| Never noticed a Chelsea player shout that they would deal with the ref after the game? He did drive off rather quickly, did the ref! |
