Subject: Korean White Caps and Royals Date: Tue, 20 Jul 1999 16:25:38 -0400 From: Paul Dickins Organization: mattoid, INK To: ssong@nortelnetworks.com Hi, Thankyou for your email. I have passed it on to the author, who is not Doug Green this time as he whooshed off to holidays after the game. I appreciate the comments you made, and I am the website techie who spoke to a few of you just before the game started. I am the one who edits the grammar, sometimes, of the reports and, for this report, added an editorial comment. I have been refereeing for years and have been a Registrar in BC, and am, as I stated, an Assessor. Thus, even though I play, I watch the game in an "official" capacity sometimes, simply to wonder why the referee does what he does. Given that I'm British, have seen a million games, it seems like, I still wonder why the ref does what he does. Now, this one arrived late, and, really, was very poor. Sad. No matter, keep your team members reading the reports on the Royals OT4 site. Maybe those who were to blame would begin to realise that if they want to really enjoy the game, that they have to earn their reward by playing in a fair manner. FIFA has recognised this problem and wishes to improve the game's image, not always successfully. Anyway, good luck in your future games and keep in touch, Paul Dickins -- Computer Technology and Association Football http://www3.sympatico.ca/pdickins This was the editor's reply to Mr Song, who is the No 5 in Graham's email, received after Mr Song responded to our game report, at the above URL.
